Default help with ce code 9!!

Hi I have a 93 Honda civic ex , ever since I bought it it's had the check engine light on for code 9, I read up on it and it for the cyp sensor which is in the distributor. So I bought a new distributor thinking that it will solve the problem but it's still there. Can anyone help?
