Default b18c1 gsr swap for silver lady (comfirmed)

Hey guys I was doing an ls/VTEC swap but decided and got talked into they're not the most reliable due too the r/s ratio.

Took my turbo build gsr forgot the pistons for later.
Currently my build at the machine shop now is.
Mahle 10-1 pistons 600$
Mahle cleveite bearings 140$ (supplied)
Mahle connecting rods 150$ each
Fel pro gasket kit 300$
ARP rod bolts and head 200$
Assembly of block/head 400$
81.50 bored block

Head is stock gsr except b16a2 cams

How does that sound guys a lot of the people I talk too and machine shops swear they're work with mahle parts all the time that they are excellent quality?
Definitely cost a bundle have 9-1 Mahle pistons for turbo I paid 800$ for future build.

Please show me one Honda motor, ever, that has failed due to R/S ratio.

An ls r/s ratio isn't terrible, but its no comparison to say a b16 or a k20. The weak link on revving the **** out of lsvtec is the rods and bolts, and you had that covered.

Yah didn't exactly mean failing or blowing. Thought just was in another few years I'd rather put money somewhere like the head then a new rebuild ls/vtecs don't seem too be more then a few years.

That's all hoping for a more reliable build for track every weekend/daily use.

so the r/s ratio is unreliable and then you come out with a fel pro gasket kit.....

I wouldn't run the felpro head gssket, especially with boost. But that's just me.

Oh no, no boost yet going n/a until I have a few grand for a turbo kit/headwork.
Gonna go felpro maybe OEM now for about 200horsepower around.
In a few years I wanna tear some of it down and redo with my lower compression pistons

A copper head gasket the machine shops looking at about 300$ I'd rather pay for that when I do turbo also.
