Default oem gsr build. would like some input.

The b16 in my daily is burning oil like crazy so it's time for a build.

Gsr block.
Ls crank.
Ls rods and arps.
B16 head.
Itr/ctr valve springs.
Ctr cams.

Now running e85 would you stick with p30 pistons or go with a ctr piston. I hear bad things about ctr pistons but they are all old threads and running pump gas.people talking about burning motors up and valves kissing pistons using the ctrs. Thank you for your input.

P30's. PCT's will provide no benefit to you.

Either the PR3 or the P30 will work great.

PCTs would give you way too high of compression anyway.

wasnt it not just the compression but the dome size itself on the pct sort of gets in the way of the flame travel?

with itr/ctr cams id say use p73 pistons, but with the e85 you should have no trouble with a p30.

that motor will make great midrange tq and the power should hold until 8000-8200

^^I agree. I think with the p30 you'd be fine with pump gas too if e85 wasn't an option, but seems like you don't have that problem lucky *** lol.
