transaxle housing leaking
so a few years ago i hit a parking block with a piece of re bar theres no damage i can see to the outside of the housing, now it makes an inconsistent but subtle knocking and it has a very slow leak it hasnt affected the driving at all. I was wondering if maybe i just hit it a little loose or shifted one part (cos it bolts together sideways). could i maybe loosen it and try and straightening it out? any help appreciated thanks

could also be a hose. get under there and CLEAN EVERYTHING. when its nice and clean eventually u will see new fluid dripping. follow that to the source and go from there
its dripping in the middle where the housing bolts together, thats why im wondering if i just shifted one side over and i can just loosen and adjust it back together
What color is the fluid?
If its red its ATF, if its tan/brown its oil. Most likely to be a rear main is leaking. When the RMS leaks it will dribble onto the bottom center of the trans case.
