Default Re: hello i am new

the vehicle in question is a stock 1992 civic dx. i bought it about 4 years ago i replaced the cv axles struts transmission a fuel line and an ignition switch my wife drove it for a few years, then i sold it to a friend. he trashed the suspension. also hit a deer and damaged the hood and right headlight. i bought it back from him, i know i am going to have to replace the upper control arm bushings because they are bad, probably just replace the whole control arm with new ball joint its onlt $10 more than just the bushins alone. my issue is this...even before i sold the car when i have someone in the back or hit a decent bump the tires rub in the rear.. i thought ok struts. so i replaced the struts all around but it still rubs even worse now that i have it back i know the trailing arm to frame bushings are shot would they cause tire rub? or is it going to be the coil springs themselves? i added spring helpers in the back to try to help but it has not.
