Need Help. We had motor replaced in car 1996 Honda Accord VTECH. Shop did great job. When we picked it up they stated that radiator had leak and condessor fan was bad. Filled radiator up and drove home fine. Car sat for a week waiting on a new radiator and condessor fan. Put both in. Started car to check for leaks and had son turn AC on. When he did radiator fan came on and would shut on/off with AC. Condessor fan never came on. But when the car is turned on the radiator fan runs and does not shut off. The only way to turn off is pull the fuse.

 

Disconnect the fan switch connector at the thermostat housing to see if maybe the switch is stuck in the closed position.

 

Otherwise the fan timer could be bad I would disconnect that.

 

So the new cond fan (left/drivers side) did not come on when the ac was on? Sounds more like a relay issue.

Just so I'm understand what is going on with the rad fan (right/pass side). Key on, fan on. Key off, fan off......

 

I HAVE A 1994 HONDA ACCORD DX I HAVE REPLACED BOTH COOLANT TEMPERATURE SWITCHES AND BOTH COOLING AND CONDENSER FANS, SWAPPED BOTH FAN RELAYS, AND WHEN I SWITCH THE CAR OFF THE COOLING FAN COMES ON AND CONTINUES TO RUN FOR OVER 16 MINUTES.....IS THERE A TIME LIMIT SWITCH FOR THIS? IF SO WHERE WOULD I FIND IT ?

The radiator fan control module is located behind the glove compartment.
