2001 Honda civic lx, car was turning on, staying on for 3-5 seconds, then dying, changed the fuel pump and now car doesn't want to turn at all

 

maybe you installed it wrong? make sure its getting power if its getting power check to make sure its pumping out fuel by powering it and connecting a hose directly to the out put. if so does it have the correct pressure?

 

of course the hose you connect has to be long and out the car to a bucket

 

I did some checking, and also did what you all suggested, j found a bad relay. I'm going to replace it in Wednesday...I'll keep you all posted
