Got a 98 honda civic coupe and I have been having a odd problem with my a/c so it's been hot lately so I started running my a/c but whenever I throw the fan on 2 and I do about 4k Rpms it's makes super loud screeching noise similar sound to tire run but I shut off the a/c sound go away car is fine. If you could help that would be great thanks

 

Try replacing the A/C belt and tensioning it properly.
