rsx or prelude
Hard choice. From an economical standpoint, the rsx is a better option because its a newer car thats just introduced, whereas the prelude is discontuinued, so the resale value might not be as high. As for performance, I hope your friend is considering the type S, not the base model, its a bit faster than a prelude, but the road feel is not as good. After driving my uncles type s and then my prelude, I noticed that the prelude is much more planted on the road, but is also heavier. just tell your friend to drive both of them and see which one fits him more. As a prelude owner I'm a bit biased towar my car, but the rsx-s is also great.
can't go wrong with either one... i was gonna buy an RSX typeS, but decided to keep my prelude. my buddy has a typeS and i get to drive it sometimes, i like it a lot. it's a great car.
If he can comfortably afford it, I would definitely spring for the RSX. I test drove one, and I really liked the car. The new Kseries engines are very smooth for a larger 4cyl, and the car is well put together over all. The thing that kept me from getting one is the fact that I could barely afford it as is, and there are a lot of things I would want to change in order to be satisfied with it. This includes the brakes (SUCK), the suspension was a little soft, but I could live with it, and personally I don't like the wheels. Great car, but no car is worth putting a financial hurt on yourself. Lude is nice but Ive never driven one so I can't comment.
id take a bb6 over a dc5 anyday
