condenser fan question

Default condenser fan question

ok so when i turn my a/c it doesnt get cold and you cant feel it turn on, I checked and my condenser fan is out, could that cause my a/c not to turn on?

No, a non-operative condenser fan will not cause the A/C to not turn on. The condenser fan does not provide feedback/input to the ECM or any other component.

Check if the compressor is actually cycling on(the very outside is actually turning). If not, check for continuity across the ac pressure switch pins. Should be continuity or you dont have enough refrigerant.

ok i checked now its turning on i think it just might need refrigerant, and i tested my fan is out i need a new one
