Can I re-clear my entire car
so my car is a 01 rallye red civic, just a few days ago I painted my replacement fenders myself with matching paint, after i applied the clear coat and let it dry for a few days I noticed the it was dull and looked almost like a matte finish, which was expected due to the "orange peel" effect, now i could cut and polish it and make it shine like the rest of the car, but i think the dull finish looks pretty good, now i was wondering if its possible that i could just wet sand the rest of my car and shoot some clear coat over it and it'll turn out like my fenders??
that all really depends. Did you have texture on your basecoat which caused the clearcoat to have orangepeel? or did u gett the orangepeel from your clearcoat alone?
you can make more orange peel from your spraying set-up and technique alone.

now that i think about it then maybe i did have some slight orange peel texture after spraying the basecoat. everything was done using aerosol cans, if that makes a difference.
