anyone build any sport bike headers?
Thinking about building a set for my 4th gen zx-10, but I really haven't seen any one off sets that anyone has made. If you have made some post them up. thanks
Its just like doing a manifold for a car/truck except you have to dodge around plastics. If you don't have a TIG, it is worth it to take it to a shop and have one made. Shop around though. some places are cheap while other shops will charge you quite a bit.
If you do have a TIG then buy a few SS mandrel bends and start cutting and pasting just like any other pipe work. If you can buy a portaband and a miter stand (SWAG Offroad) it makes it much easier but by that time you could have paid someone to make one.
You really have to weigh Time Vs. Money Vs. The I made that feeling.

making a purchase based solely on price is a mistake. base it on quality and value. cheapest does not equal best in my experience.
to the op, I have made a couple bike headers, but they were not for a traditional street bike. they were for sidecar race bikes. I don't have any pics, sorry.
