Default Harness suggestions?

Which 4 point harness would you reccomend? it will mainly be for Auto-X and light track duty.

I've been considering the Sabelt (below), any pros and cons to this one? Will this mount to the rollbar like most of the others i've seen?

Will the 5 point require me cutting the seat? this will be on stock seats for a while.

I would stick with the stock seatbelts and seat until I'm ready to make the jump to a race seat and race harness.

Yes, if you have a rollbar you should mount the harness straps to that, you won't need any hardware kits for the top straps. For the lap belt, you can use the stock seatbelt mounts, and you will need a bolt in kit for both. (I think)

sack-who's getting a 5 pt sabelt with camlock from a h-t homie.

No you may run the sub belt around the cusion although it won't be as effective. Be sure to mount it right below your ***.

Is there any advantage to the cam lock over the typical push/click style belt? sorry for all the dumb questions, but i'm a n00b when it comes to this harness stuff.

Convenience. However, the extra dough wasn't worth it for me, and the latch and link has worked fine.

I assume you mean the conventional (stock style) is more convenient? no safety benefit though? just cost?

There's basically 3 types of latches. Camlock, stock style, and latch and link. Although I've never seen a 5 or point come in stock style. The one you've pictured above is stock style.

Cam lock is more convenient.
