Default How heavy is your car?

My 2001 Civic Coupe EX weighs 2,554 lbs (curb weight). I'm asking b/c HASPORT is planning on a B-SERIES swap into the new civic model. So, I wanted to see what my 1/4 time MIGHT be with a B18C1.

15.2 What does a teg gsr run? I was thinking with a B18C1 swap, I'll be doing high 14s, maybe I was wrong

You're wrong.

Most Integras run mid 15's and weigh less than your car does.

Your car weighs more stock, so what happens when you add the heavier B-Series swap too? It'll be tipping the scales at over 2600lbs. probably.

Plus bench-racing and trying to guesstimate what your car will run is pretty pointless. sorry, but there's too many facotrs to consider.

1. What strip? What altitiude?
2. What tires? Slicks, drag radials, street radials?
3. What mods?
4. Will your motor even be runnign right?
5. mileage and condition of your swap?

Why not just do the K-Series swap from an RS-X type S? Seems more logical.

I checked the Acura website and 2001 GSR Teg weighs 2672 lbs. So if I did that swap, I'll weigh as much as the teg. Plus I would love to do the RSX-S swap, but that would cost me like $2-3k more since the engines are more newer than the B18Cs. I guess I'm back to having a slow car

Well the mid-15 Integras I was referring to were the 2490lbish 1994-1995 Integra GS-Rs. They weigh considerably less than the 2001 Teg you looked up.

Why not just sell that new civic and lose that car note and higher insurance?

i hope you know a RSX more the install will run you about 5-8 G's depending on where you go because i called inport builders and they want about 15g's installed and the motor itself will run me about half of that but the other half is parts and labor so 2-3 is more like 5-6
