Just an FYI. This post is really just for documentation for future searches.

I was rear-ended a few weeks ago and needed a rear bumper cover and trunk lid for my '01 Sedan. I did some online searching and was pretty sure that the 2004-2005 Sedan bumper cover was a direct fit for the 2001-2003 Sedan, but had a few minor cosmetic differences. It looks more modern, that's for sure. I couldn't find any info on what was different between the 2001-2002 Sedan trunk lid and the 2003-2005 Sedan trunk lid.

The 2005 Sedan trunk lid is a bolt on exchange for the 2001. I'm still not sure what the difference is, but it bolted right on and works. The 2005 rear bumper cover is also a direct bolt on exchange for the 2001.

Well, I apologize for that. Like I said, I found the info on the bumper, but I searched before and just searched again and I still don't see anything regarding the trunk lid.
