axles on b18a1 swapped hatch si
So my passenger axles has been randomly giving a little vibration and occasional popping noise like the cv joint is bad. I was reading lay night about a ring on a DA integra axles that had abs. The axles i have are frommy DA that had abs, could this be causing the noise and vibration? It has been doing it ever since i put them on but it's so random i didn't notice the first week sure to barely driving it.,ty

I don't think your issue is from the ABS. You probably just have a bad axle now. Replace is ($50) and if it doesn't fix it, return the axle.

ok ill go with repairing the cv joint part of it, the boot is torn up bad so imma just clean it up regrease it and see if it helps any. thanks for the link, it shouldnt matter. But what got me is the axle was good in my DA i drove it 3 days before i swapped the stuff into the ef kinda odd it would go bad then but hey you never know. Ill report back after i mess with it this weekend.
The engine I have came out of a CRX and the axles were fine. Both were crap by the time I installed them. I have no clue what I did. But when I got them out they had a crazy amount of slop.
you have to use Bseries tranny with Bseries axles... Dseries with D series. the only part that is interchangible is the outer CV shaft wich slides into the knuckle. you have to seperate the axles and use the inner B series with the outer D series but that doesnt matter unless your trying to do this with parts on hands to save a dollar. just buy some new or rebuilt ones from your local store for your tranny. if you have a SI then the outer splines will be fine and slide right into the knuckle.
