Are you using the nitrous on the street?? I am not too sure what is going on. I think it is kind of weird that the surface raced on would make a difference in whether the clutch would slip or not because you aren't making any more power while on the track.

are you on slicks on the track?

Tracks can cause a clutch to slip worse than it would on the street because of the better surface....especially if you're on slicks.

i think its the street disc. try upgrading to a more aggressive disc such as a kevlar disc or a puck/sprung style disc.
those are more suitable to racing conditions.

car is setup identical on street/track ..street tires, both runs were with the nitrous

ive made 3 passes down the 1/4 with the n2o....clutch slipped all 3 passes through just about every gear

Only raced once on the street with the nitrous and held up fine

exospeed: i see you sell clutches...what would be a good clutch setup for me to purchase and what would it run me for $$ , car will be seeing some slicks passes next year, and a bigger n2o shot, and also daily driven

since you are stepping up to more NOS and more abuse to the clutch, I'd go with an ACTION 1MD sprung disc kit. this should be fine for 50-100 shot NOS and on slicks.
if you want somethign alittle more aggressive, the solid disc is another option.
these run about $325.00 for a complete kit.
with these puck style discs, they can handle the hard burnouts you have to do with slicks.

broke 2 trannies with an ACT. never again.
unless you are just street driven and dont race at all, maybe ACT is good but then again, why get a performance clutch.
