200RPM, gas/oil mixture smell
Hello everyone! Hope someone can help me out.
I'm a mechanic myself, I want people's opinion or have some one experienced this and solved the problem.
3 weeks or so ago from today, my 166k accord 2001 coupe v6 automatic, first acted up, when I started the engine. It will idle at 200 rpm, sometime causing it to shut down or I just have to keep up with gas. No engine check light at all.
I tried cleaning the egr, and iacv. Also I found a little watery that smelled like oil/gas mixture inside the intake manifold, used with brake cleaner to clean inside the manifold.
Then it got a better result big time, runs normal and idling at 800.
Then 3 weeks later as of today, it stalls and idling at 200. I drove 15 miles home and had to brake and keep up with gas at the same time so it won't shut down.
I figured the same problem from previous, I took off the throttle body. Found oil/gas in the manifold again! Cleaned it, tried to start it but it didn't get better this time.
I wonder what is causing this? I'm suspecting PVC valve? I checked the PVC and it doesn't look anything bad. I can post pics if that helps.
Need honda master to help with my problems please thanks in advance!
