Default lsvtec with gsr pistons

anyone ever build an lsvtec with gsr pistons?

mine should be coming together soon. to get the pistons on the ls rods the machine shop is shaving about .040 off the sides of the small end of the rod. also to retain appropriate piston to deck height (around .040) im using a .040" cometic hg, and milled the head a bit to make up the loss of compression.

all said and done it according to zeal it should be about 10.8:1 which im cool with. 82mm, itr cams and s4c 1-4th gear it should have more than enough pep around town.

anyone else use the gsr pistons for a moderate compression build, or does everyone go right for the 12:1

the pin end of the LS rod will need to be narrowed to accept the GSR Pistons
