Default need help selecting slick size

The setup: 89 CRX Si (complete stock trim except drivetrain) w/ CRVTEC w/ 93 GSR tranny and no LSD ( should have spent the extra $800) and I have a 100 shot nitrous setup for it too, but not hooked up yet.
Motor specs: 1g B16 head w/ ITR cams and outer v. springs, portflow ti retainers and inner v. springs; stock bore B20B4 block w/ 10.5:1 JE's on Eagle rods; Exedy clutch and CM flywheel; chipped P28 ecu w/ Vision chip.
My problem: The car spins......and spins.......and spins more. I ran it at the track last week and it spun the entire 1/8th mile without hesitation. It runs 10.1's @ 75 on some good treaded Yok radials. So I want slicks, but I dont want to have to bend my fenders or buy aftermarket wheels yet, unless I have to. It was suggested to me to get some 22x8's or 24x8's. Also, I would like to put them on my stock 14" CRX wheels.
My questions: Are these sizes good for my setup? Does anybody have other suggestions? Should I get LSD first? Will they fit my CRX without fender mods? Are M/T pretty much the norm? Where can I buy slicks?

the most common slick size is the 22x8x13, which sounds like something that would be good for you to start out with.
the thing is, I would scrap the 14" rim idea cuz there are no slicks that would fit that rim tha would be good for your application. there are 2 sizes in the 14" but they are small and you would probably spin those too. stepup to a 13" rim and there is a whole selection of tires to choose from.
We stock the M&H s22x8x13 and that would be a good start for you. a 24.5x8.5x13 might clear your fenders but I would have a coilover suspension just in case before I get those or raise your car up back to stock height.

...and would those fit on a stock 13" steelie? If so, good, cause I've 2 sets laying around.
How much do they cost?

EDIT: Nevermind on the price...I visited the site, 13x8x22.....$159.95.

the stock steelies are only 5.5 inch wide. the rule on slicks is that it would fit only on a + or - 1 inch wide rim. so an 8" slick is best with an 8 inch wide rim but can fit on a 7-9 wide rim.

I run a 8 inch slick on a 6 inch rim and they work great, but the closer to the size of the slick is better. As for stock steelies i used a set of 13 * 6" wide rims off a Chev Vega.

Thanks G-reX, but I dont want to be pushing it too much. Althought that is an idea, Vega wheels that is. I am not sure that I would tell anybody what they were off of though .

Any other ideas on some decent cheap wheels, possibly wheels I can find in the junkyard?

TTT for my pit crew chief. He's not kidding about spinning..it spun the 185/60/14s the whole way down the 1/8th mile. The 100 shot will be useless without slicks. Who knows, it may be useless with slicks, too .

Are they going to be cheaper than the Bogarts?
I am assuming that they will be avaliable in say a 13x8, right?
Also, am I going to have to look into spacers and extended studs?
I will send you an email.

Yea, I got a reply from "W. N." <crex22@yahoo.com>, is that not you?
I am interested in some drag wheels, but it seems that they are all out of my price range at the moment.
