Default F series manual transmissions?

Are they all the same? The F22B2, F22B1, F23A1, etc. Are all the transmissions interchangeable like on a D series?

As far as I have read they're all the same. They're always referred to as F tranny or H tranny etc as you stated. Made mike can chime in or Ghost etc

With the exception of the f20c they are all interchangeable and will bolt up fine. The only difference is the location of the speed sensor and possible steering speed assist system.
