My neighbor is about to give me his 91 CRX for free, its in decent shape.. a little dings on it but hey its free!! anyways, im about to drop my TYPE-R motor on it but my question is which mounts do you guys preffered me buying and should i install the original Type-r harness (from engine to dashboard)?

engine to dash would be easiest.... mounts hasport or hcp engineering.. i have hcp and i don't have a problem, ppl have hasport and don't have a problem ..

 

my hcp mounts are okay, they don't feel as stiff as others, seems like the engine is sort of flopping around in the engine bay while starting slowly in first. i suggest swapping the entire motor and interior, dash, guage cluster, heater controls, etc.

 

mackymcg has a c5 in his 90 std hatch and wired obd2 in his car with the hydro LSD trans do a search he made a few posts how to mount the sunofa in the ED chasis

 

would the integra dash fit into the crx? i might need to do little modificaton on it huh?

 

thanks for the info, this saturday is gonna be the project day... we will start with the suspension first(gsr suspension) then drop the motor by lunchtime.. itll be fun!!
