Opinions on buying this supercharger??
I'm looking to buy a ct supercharger off Craigslist for my 03 type s. Full bolt on kit, supercharger is ported, 9 psi pulley. Kpro that's already been reflashed for the set up. And rc 650 injectors. Asking $3500 for the whole package. Personally thought it was a little high, any other opinions on this deal? Any feedback is appreciated thanks guys.

$4,800 new. So take your pick. $1,300 off doesn't seem too bad to me.

that might make for an interesting powerband, sounds like if its a direct install plug & play as long as you have a little familiarity with your vehicle you should be able to bump your k to what, about 300 maybe at 9 psi? not bad for the reliability factor..

there may be some people out there that have managed to make almost 300 at the wheels, but it takes a LOT to get there without boost or spray. youre talking fully built, super high compression, aggressive lopey cams, valvetrain that runs up to at LEAST 10k..
Of course. This is a plug and play set up. Tuned on the same motor according to the website. So the Kpro should function perfectly on his motor.
I was just saying my experience with K series is limited to what I read online. Hence me saying I have a B series.
With that in mind I swore I saw I few K series bolt-ons getting up in the top 200's range. I did a search seems to be possible to get to 250 with cams with out much trouble. I was alluding to that for such marginal gains I wouldn't think its worth all the trouble of FI.

I've seen 300+whp NA k series but they were insanely expensive builds, very time consuming, and stretch the limit of the term "street car"
