Starter Swap??

Will a starter from a 1995 D15B7 5 speed hyro trans work with a 1990 D Series 5 speed cable trans? Thanks

as long as the fly wheels are the same. cable trans/hydro doesnt matter ince its a bolt on only. if the fly wheels are not the same you could dmg the engine bearings as well as the crank/start/flywheel.
