im in desperate need for your help, my radio doesnt work, never has actually, since i bought it, the thing is that i have to unplug it from the harness, because even when i remove the key, the lights of radio stay on, but no display, i took it out and connected it to a PC power supply and it does the same, nothing on the screen, totally black, but the green lights on, whats going on? any ideas? i dont want an aftermarket stereo, i love being stock,
thank you

find another stock radio and plug it in. May be faulty and worn out. Honestly stock is cool but the sound difference in an upgraded deck and speakers is amazing
yeah, i can imagine the difference,
one STUPID question, but maybe worth it, can i use aftermarket speakers with my oem? , a more moronic, can i plug an amp to my oem hu?
Well you can use aftermarket speakers. The deal with a new deck is the output power that it can produce is greater than the oem thus further powering the aftermarket speakers which are also more capable of more power than stock. I believe some systems had a stock amp somewhere in the system. I could certainly be wrong though. I guess you either tilt the scale to one side or the other. I would upgrade everything it does sound great. I'm not sure if the oem deck has an output for an amp or not
