Default How should I approach this?

Alright so I ordered (4) 200w 6.5 speakers for my highs and mids with an amp to go with it. When they came in I realized I only had highs, in my front door panels so I'll have to cut holes into the passenger door panels to mount the mids but I don't know which tool would do the best job... keep in mind I don't wanna break the bank.

you only have highs in your front door?
Can you take a pic?

This is what a stock 90 door looks like

Mighty large for a tweeter.

Thats what my highs look like in the front door panels but in the rear passenger seats it is completely flat plastic.

Also the stock fitment is a 6.2" speaker not a 6.5" I had to make custom spacers for mine to fit.

You want to cut the rear panels, correct? I would suggest measuring and cutting the hole slightly smaller than you anticipate. As for the tool, just a basic jig saw should work.

stock was full range and not just a high, but whatever.
You can take the stock black ring and trim it so your new speaker fits.
That might not be possible if your new speaker is too big so then you would need to cut a new ring out of MDF or seomething.
The bucket in the door may have to be removed and discarded.

I'd recommend just buying 6 1/4" speakers instead. Got my Sony 6.25" speakers for <$50. Bought 4 speakers for my other car for $35 on amazon. Sound is amazing for the price and fine for daily use. Modifying just for a 1/4" seems like a waste to me.
