got an eagle crankshaft (87.2) that has been turned down to 54.72 (mains). the stock size is 54.97 is the lowest.
so is there any way i can fix this?
talked to eagle and they said .25 oversize bearings might still be to much clearance but if i had a machine shop turn it down to .5 that i could use king bearings .5 undersize bearing and it should be fine
so im not sure what to do.
with the turning to .5 how much would i have the machine shop turn?
any help and advice would be great.
i cant really afford to get another cranksahft at this time since this is my second one

so the the .25mm acl would work?
i was not for sure since that would make up for the .25 under but would still need the amount to make up for the bearing would be on a normal crankshaft?
does anyone sell 2 bearings single?

IMHO, you could run an OEM crank and save some potential headaches. The stock cranks are impressive and never saw a need for an Eagle crank in an all motor application personally?

I would have used an oem one but mine was broken by my machine shop and a buddy had an eagle version that is the stock size but it ended up being turned
-it's hard to buy a used one because you don't know the history and I don't have a good machine shop around that I would trust to fix anything

from eagle "ACL, Clevite, and King all have the .25mm undersize (thicker) bearings. My worry is: even at -.25mm, it still looks like there may be too much clearance. If so, you can have a machine shop turn it to .5mm under. I know King and Clevite both make .5mm undersize bearings. I don't know about ACL."
