Here's the deal with the car:
Cylinder number 3 has low compression, and I narrowed it down to worn piston rings. (By doing both dry and wet compression tests) This causes the car to misfire and is evidenced when I pulled the spark plug out of that cylinder (I replaced the plugs when I checked the compression about 4 weeks ago, haven't pulled them out since). It burns about a quart of oil every 500 miles. Also, the IACV and FITV have been acting up recently, as the car has a surging cold start idle, then when it reaches normal operating temperature, idles high at 1500 RPM.
Head gasket was replaced at 180,000 miles along with timing belt and water pump and all other gaskets implied. I had the head cleaned and resurfaced at that time.
Radiator was replaced last summer.
The car has a good amount of rust on it...I like to call it custom rusted. Rust locations are the rear quarter panels behind the rear wheel, and the mounting holes for the side moldings on the rear quarter panels are rusted through. I treated the rust with POR15, put body patches over the holes, and Plasti-Dipped over them. The car also has scrapes on both bumpers, and the left front fender at the bumper is pushed in slightly.
The driver's side seat ripped and the filling came out, so I got some stuffed animal stuffing, packed the seat, then duct taped over it. Then I put seat covers on. The rest of the interior is in pretty good condition. The carpet could use a good deep cleaning. The rear hatch area plastic is scratched up, the false floor is cracked, and the spare tire area shows signs of moisture.
This car would be a perfect project car or platform to build a track car on. I'm looking to sell as a whole as I don't really have the space to take apart a whole car and part it out. No trades, just cash. I'm asking $1,200 for it.

Cheaper if you bring your own wheels. I've had lots of people interested in just the blades.
