I have watched several videos on how to remove the front bumper of a 2001 honda civic. They all have the four plastic caps to remove on the middle area but mine has four bolts. I tried using a socket wrench but it doesn't twist off, it just keeps spinning. It also seems quite difficult to hold the bottom part of the bolt with another wrench since it's behind the bumper. Any tips?

 

Whoever put those bolts in there did you no favors. Those aren't factory at all. You may be able to just pry up on them, and have them pop out, because the factory option is just pop clips.

They might... however the clips are a specific size, and I'd have to measure mine.

The Honda part number for those clips are 91503-SZ3-003. Ebay has sellers with those.
