Nothing else works. No wipers, no lights, no windows, nothing. Just the check engine light is illuminated on the dash.

What could it be? I bought the car like this. The fuel pump pumped for a little bit there, but then I haven't heard it pump again.

Honestly I haven't checked the ecu, if it was unplugged could it cause these problems? I'll check it tomorrow.

 

You need to give out a lot more information than that to get some real help.

That's not going to get it done.

 

Like what? The battery is hooked up, the fuses under the dash are good. The only light on the cluster is the check engine light. Radio, windows, wipers, blinkers, hazards don't work.

Literally the only thing that works is the check engine light.

 

Check the fuses under the hood.

 

how much did you buy this car for? sounds like a ground issue. he just sold you hes headache that i bet hes been trying to figure out as well. you need to look for the grounds. all of them and check them

 

if you're standing on the passenger side of the engine bay, facing the engine, pull the fuse panel cover off, and looking at the fuse panel FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE, look at the top left... second row over, second row down is your ECU fuse, replace it..

My friend has a 94, the same thing happened to his about a month ago. nothing working, and CEL was on all the time, even checking for the codes did nothing because the fuse was blown.

2nd thing to that, IF that fuse is blown, figure out WHY before you continue to drive it and get stuck out in BFE like a dumby.
