Default Cluster swap - tachometer reading high

Hi HT,

I've swapped an 88-89 cluster with a 90-91 cluster, re pinned it to work and the tacho reads high. Hondata indicates 800rpm at idle while the tacho indicates 1500-2000 rpm.

Has anyone experienced this?

I would think thats a wiring issue, go through and check your grounds and other wires you messed with.

Thanks for your input.

Anyone else have any suggestions, or had this issue with this swap?
