Integra GSR vs Prelude front headroom?
i'm looking at these cars and im pretty tall, about 6'2". My current 02 EX Coupe only has 36.9 inches of front headroom and I cant sit up straight in it. Between the 94-01 GSR and 97-01 Prelude which one has more headroom? I did a search online but am getting different numbers, looking for some real world experience thanks.
I kept searching and it seems the GSR has almost an extra inch of front headroom compared to the Praylewd this is suprising consider how much bigger the lude is. I was pretty set on the h22 beast, but I think that jut changed my mine.
I'm also 6' 2". Well, after 52 years, I've actually shrunk to 6' 1.5". Gettin' old sucks.
Reported headroom is usually misleading, since the figures don't take into account
1) your body weight and its effect on the seat structure,
2) compression of the seat-foam with age,
and, most importantly, may or may not account for
3) the presence of a sunroof.
Sunroofs are major headroom thieves. When considering low-slung vehicles, make sure you find out whether or not the car in question has a sunroof. Back in 1991, I chose my Integra RS specifically because it had no sunroof, and this gave me the headroom I needed.
The upshot to all this? Go and sit in it. It's the only way of knowing for sure.

From: TRILLINOIS....WAY downtown, jerky.
3g integras have more room from the seat to the roof than a 5G prelude. That's how you measure headroom. Regardless of your body type, the more space between the seat and the roof...the more headroom there is.
Instead of posting this....why not test drive both cars? Or at least specify the year range for both cars?
