ok so I pulled out my evaporator today and found that the line coming to this sensor is broken. it appears to be the line from the expansion valve. it looks like a little sensor on the outside of the box that the copper line attached to. I'm for the most part clueless with air conditioning components and wanted to see if I could get some help naming this part and possibly a way to fix it. I am going to try and upload photos using my phone but if that doesn't work I will have them up tomorrow.

ok so I found the part number and it turns out to be the evaporator thermostat part number 80430-sk7-a11
