Default Strange AC Issue

I just replaced the compressor and my AC is ice cold. But there's a problem. After driving constantly for about 30 minutes, it stops blowing air out of the vents. The compressor is still engaged and I can hear the fan blowing, but no air comes out of the vents. If I let the car sit for a while, it's back to normal when I start the car again. Any ideas? Maybe a vacuum issue? It's almost as if something gradually blocks the vents after the AC has been on for an extended period of time. Thanks!

Beats me. If you find out post it. I'm working on mine right now just waiting for the compressor to come in. Hopefully, this "universal compressor" I bought will work with the oem 3 wire connector from the car. BTW... did you have yours vacuumed first before recharging the ac because that can probably be the culprit. Since you did r/r the compressor and I'm assuming your r/r the drier as well?

Did you replace the compressor yourself or had it done by a shop?

If done by a shop, bring it back because your evaporator coil is icing up and blocking the air flow. The refrigerant charge was not to specs.

If you diy, then hook up the gauges and go from there.
Or you can empty the system again and charge by weight as per ac decal.
