Hi, im looking for a honda civic but i have a lot of questions... Im new in this world so i just know basics about cars. First, im lookong for a 1992-2000 civic coupe or hatchback. I prefer 6 gen and i've seen some good loking cars for sale but im afraid of buying one because there are a lot of engine options!! B20, B18, B16 so im very confused because some people sya b16 its the best and some others no etc... What is the best option for a dialy car (I dont want to race) but with enough power to have fun (I love VTEC sound) I would like to run it in the streets some times with my friends but, im not gonna take it to 1/4 mile and NO turbo.. Thanks and please, dont anoy about my knowledge

 

Buy one with a J32a2, they even make production line intake manifolds so the hood doesn't need to be chopped up like an old blown muscle car

 

Just leave it stock if youre not concerned with 1/4 track times. There is no best engine option. Person preference or you choose the engine for what you want out of the car. Plenty of people drop tons of money into a swap only to daily it, and vise versa.
