Please please please take the time to help me. My car is doing things I don't know how to remedy. My car will run fine one minute and during that time my tachometer worms normal as well. But then out of nowhere it will cut out bad and die. And when that happens the tach stops working too.. The rest of the gages work but not my tach. Please help me.

 

Start with replacing your ignition control module, who's failure symptoms are dying/failing tachometer as engine dies.

 

Where is the ignition control module located? I have a td60 distributor with internal coil. Please help

 

Would it make more sense to replace the entire distributor? Or can I find an icm easily? If so where can I get one
