95 Accord, replaced antena now radio is silent
I am having a problem with my Accord radio.
I replaced the power antena with a generic short non-powered rubber antena, it seemed to work fine for a short while, then the radio began to pop on and off. The display would still show the station that it was tuned to, the Stereo indicator would either flash or stay on or be gone completly, but i would have no sound at all
Bumps in the road or different ways the car would turn shut the the sound off or bring it back on.
Now I have nothing. The display still shows the station the radio is currently recieving but I have no sound. It doesnt pop on or off anymore its always silent.
Any suggestions?

is it one of those cheap china made antennas? lots of times the connections between the antenna element and wire will come loose, I've diagnosed several of those for friends, just crap parts is all,
