Hi,

I have a 1998 honda civic EX and I realized the back silencer has losen stuff inside. It doesnt sound weird but If I crawl under the car and I hit it I can feel everything inside its loose.

Would this hurt performance or Fuel economy?

I think it just means your muffler is starting to corrode and its gonna fall off soon

 

Stock, or aftermarket muffler?

 

Time to buy a coffee can muffler.

 

It has the stock Muffler.

 

Did it come from the factory that way? No. Replace it.
