Hi, i came here because i have no idea whats wrong with my car, i have a 2001 accord with a F23A engine and my problem is that in idle it feels like the car was missing ignition in one cylinder and it vibrates a lot like the car was about to stall but it doesn't, i changed the spark plugs and the cables too, i've read that it could be a bad ignition coil but it seems like the problem is on the 3rd cylinder only because when i tested for sparks when i remove the 3rd cylinder cable it keeps doing it just like it was connected, i'm running out of money from buying the parts and i need the car to work so i'm kinda desperate now, hopefully someone knows whats wrong with my car.
is check engine light on? is this when the ac is on? adjust the idle using a flat head screw driver. remove the intake tube and right above where the tube connected on engine is a small circle with a flat head screw inside. turn it counterclockwise while idle running. idle should clear up. what rpm are you at anyway? if its running poorly there has to be a check engine light. even if its not on check it. seen alot of our gens with missing check engine light bulbs

If you are experiencing problems at idle and at higher rpm then your third cylider may be loosing compression as you have new wires and spark plugs. Did you changed rotor and cap too? if above were changed then go straight for compression test on all cylinders

so far i changed the distributor cap and rotor, the spark plugs and the cables, i had the injectors cleaned and its still have the problem, its like a misfire in one of the cylinders when you hear the exhaust it sounds like that and it smells like gasoline.
What could be the cause of this misfire if i already changed pretty much everything?
