Default PLEASE HELP, '93 Accord temp AND fuel gauge not working

Hi guys, new here and a new honda owner, picked up a nice 93 accord with low mileage the other day but later discovered the temp gauge and fuel gauge doesnt work.

I have done alot of research and searches but can't find what I am looking for.

I know the fuel gauge is stuck at 3/4 because I put the car on a small slope and the low level warning light came on.

I know the temp sender is working, I have tested it by grounding it and it does not go to 'hot', but will always remain at cold. It does how-ever move a TINY bit when i turn the ignition on, it moves down about 1mm (not sure if that is a clue to what might be the problem).

Thermostat is working.

Engine is full of new coolant.

I can't find any fuse specific for those two gauges, but have checked every fuse at the kick panel and engine bay.

Is there a way to test the gauges?
Anyone have any wiring diagrams for the cluster and fuse box so I can start testing with my multi-meter (and any tips on how to do that properly would be much appreciated, I was just going to set it to volts and turn ignition on ground the meter and test the back of the pins, but need to know what is what first - need a diagram )

Any ideas very welcome.

On a side note, does anyone know if the drivers side power window motor shares the same motor with any other hondas?

Thanks in advance!

Remmick.

At this stage I would most like to know where the gauge terminal on the ignition is.

Correct that, anyone know which wire it is going into the cluster? I am guessing one of the yellow wires going into the green plug that is closest to the temp gauge on the cluster.
I want to test the voltage

Ok so I found the diagram and the wires, there is a yellow wire from power going to the gauge, and a black coming from the gauge to ground and a red coming from the sender to the gauge.
Now with the red wire connected to earth and ignition 'on' testing the voltage of the wires going into the cluster i get full voltage with yellow, no voltage with the red and a chagne from 0 to 0.03 volt when testing the black.
sound like the gauge is fried?
Or possibly an open in the red wire circuit?

Final update for today, I connected a wire directly to the red wire going into the cluster and earthed it, the gauge did not move (essentially this is testing if there is a problem with the red wire to the sender).

So pretty much answered my own question in this thread, I will try replace the cluster, unless anyone else has any other thoughts?
Can I replace the circuit board and not the whole cluster? Basically so I dont change the actual mileage readout.
And again, does anyone know if the accords driver side power window motor shares the same motor with any other hondas?
