hydro cable converison kit?
hey guys there seems to be soo much info about the hydr cable conversion. I am thinking about doing it but I don't know enough about which kit is best.
what im looking for is the best and complete kit available nowadays. I don't want to source it parts. I just want a simple and proven kit. price isn't going to be a concern for something that is really well made and bolts right up with all the parts needed.
also what is needed besides a kit?
what do you guys recommend?
fitment: 91 civic wagon 4wd.

Hush kit.

No slave cylinder. $390. Never heard anyone with anything negative to say about this kit.

I have the Hush22 Kit. It is nice, but you might need to weld in a pedal stop if you go with the Wilwood master cylinder. Consult youtube for the installation videos before you install it. I also have a Billet Hasport hydro conversion kit in the garage if you want to buy it from me just PM me. I like the Hush kit better, but the Hasport kit worked great when i ran it.
You need a hydraulic transmission. That's the whole point of the swap. You will need a new transmission mount since the mounting brackets are different between a cable and hydraulic transmission.

Directly bolt up... the on you have in it... and basically that's it. There was a 4WD 92-95 in Japan and some other places, but good luck finding those components. It might not be a straight transmission swap... but I guess it could be.
If you have a stock 4 door wagon, I cannot imagine why you would even be thinking about installing just a hydraulic clutch transmission.
