Default P1129 MAP Sensor Issue

Have been having this issue for the last week.

Id like advice on how to properly check that the MAP sensor is getting power from the PCM and is properly grounded.

I have been going about it that the 3P connection has the centre pin being the ground, and the first pin from the left being the 5V PCM power. Connected my multimeter to pin 1 and to battery ground, received 5 volts, key on engine off. Middle pin (ground?) black multimeter lead to pin 2 and red lead to battery power. Supposed to read 12V? I received 2V.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Default Re: P1129 MAP Sensor Issue

According to the service manual P1129 only has 2 possible causes- a bad connection (either at the sensor or ECM/PCM) or the sensor is bad.
