Default one automatic door lock not working

On my 98 accord, all off the doors lock and unlock with the remote or with the lock button, except the passenger side front door. Anybody know what could cause this? If i lock/unlock it manually by hand it works fine, just doesnt work systematically.

Did you test the actuator?

Yea.....surprised with 6K posts you don't?

Two pins to the actuator - LT GRN/RED and WHT/RED. Power to the LT GRN/RED and ground to the WHT/RED and the door should unlock - switch the two and the door should lock. If that works:

Then test the wires TO the actuator - from the switch try to lock the door. Test the voltage, try to unlock and test the voltage.

If the actuator works when you apply power but when you use the switches you are not getting power, let us know as more testing will be needed.

Lol, true. Majority of my hondas have not had power locks, and I have not experienced this issue in other vehicles. Thanks for the information, I will check it out.

A new actuator fixed the issue, thanks for the info Lost! $30 shipped from rockauto

I guess it also explains why the car would only beep sometimes when i locked it remotely, presumably when the passenger door was locked already.
