I having an illumination issues, but did a temporary fixed. I was wondering if anyone had an idea for a permanent fix.

It seems like i have to wedge a piece of makeshift cardboard wrapped in duct tape next to the green adapter that is behind the rpm gauge.

 

issues with guage only or all lights? sounds like a cluster issue.

 

It looks like the issue only with the illumination light.

 

if the issue is that the light to illuminate the RPM gauge isn't working, try switching the bulb with one from the speedometer to see if it is a bad bulb.

if it isn't the bulb then my next guess would be the green plug. see if one of the other plugs fits into the connector (i'm not sure if they will). if the other plugs fit and the light works, then you have a bad plug
