Default 97-01 CR-V Guys: MT Shifter Question

Hey guys, got a question about the 5 speed manual shift assembly and cables. I'm in the middle of an AWD project on my Civic (trying to be like you guys) and as you may know, it is pretty difficult to find manual transmission parts for the 97-01 CR-V. I have yet to find the shift assembly and cables needed to complete this project. I was wondering if any of you knew of a shift assembly and cables from another Honda model that could possibly work. Something more easily obtainable. The only thing close that I have found is from a '93 Prelude, but I don't know for sure if it will operate the shifting of the CR-V trans the same. Just thought I'd ask. Any information would be much obliged.

I am not saying it will work for sure, but all the internals of the SBXM trans are the same as the Euro H22 transmissions. The only difference is the obvious transfer case and B-series bellhousing. One would assume any Prelude shifter assembly with an H-series engine / trans would work, but unfortunately I have only messed with one Prelude about 10 years ago and is not my area of expertise.

Thank you for responding. I haven't played with any of them either. I am just going off of pictures at this point and trying to find shifters that function in the same manner as the CR-V. On the trans itself, it looks like the Prelude setup is a little different than the CR-V. Doesn't mean the shifter won't function the same (i.e. pulls/pushes cable in same direction). For example, I know a K series shifter won't work because it pushes one cable (say going into 3rd gear) where the CR-V would pull the cable to go into 3rd. Just have to keep searching.
