Default Is my motor OBD one or OBD two??

Hey guys, I have unfortunately blown my head gasket on my F22B1 and I'm pretty sure my head is warped as well. I've found another motor (just the valve cover, head, intake, and block) for $150, but he's not sure if it's OBD one or OBD two.

The engine number is 1420560. Can anybody tell me which OBD the motor is off of that?

Probably obd1. Although i cant reference that engine number check out the connectors see how your gonna get it all wired up. (dizzy mostly) too be honest resurfacing head and swapping gasket would be alot easier and your not buying someone elses problem.

If your original engine is obd1 then it doesnt matter. Just move your existing distributor to the new engine and youre done.

Well I'm moving out of my parents house (and then I might as well be disowned by my mother) and I really need a quick swap because I can't miss work. You guys know how that is. He claims it's got 88,000 miles and he wrecked the car. I figured if I just switched all my stuff to it then I'd be ok regardless. I've seen the guy trade and sell a lot with no problems from anybody so I believe him.

Could anybody give me their engine code from their OBD one motor? I'm thinking if they're close then it would confirm it. I'd reference it with mine but I'm out of town without my car.
