91 civic hatch

Default 91 civic hatch

is there a difference between a 91 dx and a 91 base motor? I know the dx is a b2 and the base is a b1. the b1 is shot and I want to put the dx motor in my hatch. any modifications? thanks

Nope. None. Use the stock intake manifold and exhaust manifold. Use the stock trans. Just put in the new block and head. Easy peasy.

can I just swap motor for motor? some people are telling me there is going to be modifications being that im going from a base to a dx?

Literally just swap the motor for the motor. You can keep the stock intake, exhaust, etc. There won't be any mods if you keep the factory intake.
