Default Carbon Fibre Fenders

Who would be interested? I'm considering making molds for my '94 Civic H/B.

An actual word, more then likely not used in the case of exterior automotive accessories.

If they are lighter than stock. Stock fenders are pretty light already considering they are made of thin Aluminum and have no reinforcements.

Hate to break this to you, but Fiber Images already makes them in both stock and Z3 (I think) versions.

You have a good point.

Carbon fenders aren’t that much lighter than stock if they are mass produced.

If you were to look at low quantity tight weave carbon fenders they might be even lighter than mass produced Carbon fenders.

I'm not worried about Fiber Images.

I'm not going to try to compete with them.

I'm posting this as a general question.

thats cuz they are considered the "cripple zone" when it comes to an accident. learned that in physics

Dontcha mean crumple zone? The "cripple zone" is a club you might go to if your crumple zones don't perform in an accident.

I wouldn't sport the fenders. I think they look ugly.
