How does one remove the seat back release lever ****(?) on a '95 Accord wagon/sedan seat? It doesn't appear the **** can slide through the side cover's slot and I'm not sure how the **** is retained to the metal lever inside it.

ah this silly thing. you have to pull hard away from the seat, be careful i broke one trying it to fast i suggest you put some wd40 or pb blaster to help it slide better and loosen the grime that has accumulated thru out the years

 

Thanks. I found you need to flex/stretch the slot in the side cover slightly to allow it to slip over the lever ****, but the side cover came off without any trouble.
