Sputter after running dry /86 civic si

Hi,i have had sputter aftre i ran out of gas. I replaced the fuel filter, and now have pulled the screen in the fuel hose to the the pump is this a clog thats bad?

Yes buy a new one or clean it out and you should be fine.
